a book in the making ..
Steffen Jensen, a Middle East correspondent for Danish channel TV2, is when off-duty, a passionate photographer, as well as a part-time resident near Tranekær on the Danish southern island Langeland.
He and his family has for the past 7 years enjoyed the wide and warm hospitality of Langeland when visiting from their home in Jerusalem. Steffen is currently working to portray the island and it´s habitants in a photographic book .. soon to come.
I joined Steffen and his friend and colleague John Rasmussen during what turned out to be the very first Spring weekend of 2014. And judging from the warmth with which Steffen – and his backing group – was welcomed all over the island, I would consider Steffen a very well-integrated resident or “Langelænder”.
In between assisting with epuipment and bags, discussing locations, lights, and postures, I snapped some shots of people and nature during 3 days full of intense photo-nerding, fun and great meals in even greater company …
